3. Use of our online system and the webshop

(1) If you want to use our online system or order something in our webshop, you have to create a customer account in which your data is stored (also for later use and further purchases). Mandatory information needed for the execution of the contracts is labeled separately, the provision of any other information is voluntary. When an account is created under “My account”, you can revoke the saving of the data there at a later time if you so wish. You can request to have your account deleted by us. (2) We use the data provided by you in order to process your order. For this purpose, we transfer your address data to a commissioned shipping company and, if necessary, to traders and payment services cooperating with us, and we will also transfer your payment data to our principal bank, if necessary.

(3) In order to prevent unauthorized access to your personal data, in particular financial data, the order process will be encrypted using SSL technology.

III. Web tracking

Use of Google Analytics

(1) This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, i.e. text files which are stored on your computer and which allow an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie concerning your use of the website will usually be transmitted to a server of Google in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, Google will shorten your IP address within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. (5) This website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIp()”. Therefore, IP addresses will be processed further in abbreviated form and consequently, a direct personal reference can be excluded.

IV. Social media plug-ins

1. Use of social media plug-ins

(1) Currently, we use the following social media plug-ins: Facebook, Google+, Pinterest. While doing so, we use the so-called 2-clicks solution. This means that usually no personal data will be transferred to the provider of these plug-ins when you visit our website. You recognize the provider of the plug-in by the labeling on the respective button. Only when you click on one of the plug-ins, your personal data will be transferred: By activating the plug-in, data will automatically be transferred to the respective provider of the plug-in and stored there (in the case of US-American providers in the USA). We have no influence over the collected data and the data processing operations, and we do not know the full extent of the data collection, the purposes or the storage periods. V. Google Adwords

We use “Google Adwords” to advertise our website. Within this framework we use the analysis service “Conversion Tracking” of the company Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, in the following referred to as “Google”, on our website. If you came to our website via a Google advertisement, a so-called “conversion cookie” is placed on your computer. They lose their validity after 30 days and they are not used for your personal identification. If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can see that you as a user clicked on one of our advertisements placed with Google and that you were directed to our page.

The information collected by means of the “conversion cookies” will be used by Google to prepare statistics concerning the visits to our website.
